played a lot live. had lots of fun, roughly breakeven all said.
played some online, up a pile of cash in sngs, made $1600 playing the $540 stars million guaranteed by finishing 61st. I lost 2 flips while we were in the 60's.

HAWT
yeah, played some 5/10 horse at caesar's palace with 2p2ers. lost $250 ish, dropped another $100 at wynn 10/20 o/8, then sat in a delicious 30/60 game. Made $2800 at that, so that ended a damn solid day of poker.

running hot
So I played 109 speed sngs. There were maybe 10 from before, all I remember is I was up a couple hundred. Tally after today -
64 tourneys, +$4324, 61.98% roi, 46.88% ITM
clearly sustainable.

woot
ran good at stud and omaha/8. bought a laptop with the new dell laptop promo.
Then played wynn 15 with lamont jordan, have him move to 60/120, and play 5 handed with him. he played not so good, really weirdly in fact. I ended up +700 and a new high for how high I've played live. Strangely not affected by the stakes. I really didn't have enough on me to buyin but really felt this was too good to pass up.

challenge is somewhat over
I've decided that 8 tabling 5/10 6 is too stressful/high variance to maintain my goal of millions of hands per day. Fullring probably is not, so I'm going to explore between that, sngs, and just maybe 4 tabling 10/20 again on which one I want to do the rest of the month. I also wasn't making nearly enough from the games vs rakeback.
So now my goals are $/hr and making sure I hit my VIP bonuses. Played about 39000 hands of 5/10. I reserve the right to start doing it again tomorrow and hit like 75,000 hands for the month, but I was playing so poorly today which needs to not happen.

no play
I played 0 hands. I played a live mtt, getting second for +890 losing QQ to AQo allin preflop, then made another 100ish playing drunken 1/2 home game plus strip club

It's supposed to be easy
I stopped playing after I was up 150bbs to eat. I come back and play that mess of hands. I really, really, really dislike poker right now. The boundaries of normal variance are really underestimated by everyone that plays. I was looking forward to winning more in one day than the challenge thus far. Also, I'm making about as much from playing as I am from rakeback. Wonderful confidence booster that is.
I should be around 42,800 hands right now to be on pace. I'm at 36747. I may play some more tonight but the tables look bad and I doubt I'm in the proper mental state. Looks like I need to put in either some consistent extra hands for the next week or do a poker bender and fix that pronto.

Day 10

8 & 9
Day 8 I took off. The VIP bonus (mine rocks ass, ~2800 points for $205 meaning a free $410 a week plus extras) made the afternoon tables reaaaaaaally crappy. I decided to get good food and prepare for the epic home game that started at 8pm. Everyone got sloshed and good times were had.
278 hands for -$112 and change
Day 9 I woke up rather hungover to blaring phone call and my computer fan trying to dice wires. Fun. Spent most of the day just playing instead.
4413 hands for +$1156.94
ctd 27052 hands for +$2558.36 @ .95BB/100
should be at 32130 to finish in february. So I have some work to do. I may end up doing it as the 30 days I intended if I have to...

Day 7
I started the day at Binion's playing the 2pm tourney there. Brendan (CSC), his roomie and I went. Seemed like a decent enough break from regular crap.
I played good, ran bad, FT'ed and we chopped 9 ways. After taking care of the dealers, +$550 to the good.
Got back at 8pm and put in some hours. One awesome hand-

I'm about 2500 hands short of where I should be, I'm going to try and fix that in the next few days. (ha, ha ha ha ha, ha)

day 5 and stuff
A really bad start (F U seattle) to the day ended up ok as my evening session went well despite massive headache and other gripes. Tables weren't great either, so I am cutting tonight way short at 2725 hands. That puts me in a hands deficit I'll need to makeup the rest of the week, but losing so many hours to the super bowl does that.
I'll post some pt screenshots when I hit day 7 I think. I've ran really well the past 2 days, really, so I dunno what my winrate should be but it's looking lower than what I wanted. Then again, my dip this morning was entirely getting sucked out on in large pots at the river vs superdonkey.
Oh, and F U Holmgren for costing me $$$ on some 2nd half over and seattle covering on tease.
2725 hands, +$1058.69
ctd 16982 hands, +$2035.62

end of day 3
#1 is rest of today, #2 is today in sum.
another 1808 hands. of death. evil, QJ losing vs Kd8d on T98 one diamond flop, Jd turn, d river DEATH. -$680 for the session. Daily total is 3741 hands for +361 and change.
graph shows rest of the day. I hate this so fucking much. Would it kill someone to let me run good and get out of the hole already?
total challenge: 9805 hands, -$735.

wow I suck
Top one is today, bottom is challenge to date.
I slept until 5pm today. 5pm. 5 fucking pm. I went to bed around 330 am too. So yeah, I suck. 1934 hands thus far, +$1029.32. That feels pretty good.
Hooters casino sucks. I think the pit might be ok, but the poker room was really lame. You'd think advertising that a room is there would mean you have more than 3 tables.
challenge to date: 7998 hands, -$67.59

Sometime during day 2
I'm gonna go eat and meander at the Hooters Hotel and Casino (tm) grand opening tonight, and hopefully put in a couple more hours when I return.
2504 hands, +$436.34
I flopped a lot of sets today. Many lost. My won at sd numbers are still sucking for trips/fh/flush.
today thus far graphed above. Challenge to date will be done sometime after day 3 I think.

Day 1
Halfpoint of Day 1
Woke up at 730, have put in roughly 6 hours of play thus far.
The results? Look above.
2588 hands at -$576.75. Fucking stellar. Losing money with AKo, KJs JTs and whatnot isn't helping. Running like shit at showdown isn't helping and my wtsd is down 3% from what it has been at, so I am running exceeeeeeeeeedingly bad at the moment.
Three of the bigger fish in the games each have $200 of my money I want back.
